Most vape pens are activated by pressing a button, though some use draw-activation. The vapour is then inhaled through the mouthpiece, delivering flavour and nicotine without combustion.

To charge a vape pen, connect the device to a power source using the included cable. Charge on a flat, stable surface and avoid leaving the device charging overnight or unattended for extended periods. A full charge typically takes between one and two hours depending on the battery capacity, and most devices will indicate when charging is complete via an LED light.
