alt. Devices

The alt. device is a compact, draw-activated closed pod system designed for use with alt. replacement pods. It does not have buttons or adjustable settings, making it simple to operate by inhaling through the mouthpiece. The alt. device is sold separately from its pods, which means you can purchase a replacement device without needing to buy a full starter kit.

The alt. and alt. X are two separate device variants in VAPO's house brand range, each compatible with their own respective pod formats. The alt. X features an expanded flavour selection through its pod range, including fruit and specialty profiles, while the original alt. focuses on classic Tobacco and Menthol profiles. The devices are similar in form factor but use different pods, which are not interchangeable between the two systems.

alt. devices are designed to work exclusively with alt. compatible pods and are not compatible with third-party or other VAPO brand pods. Using pods that are not designed for your device may result in poor performance or no function at all. VAPO stocks a range of alt. and alt. X replacement pods that are purpose-designed for their respective devices.

alt. devices are designed for extended use and do not need to be replaced every time you change your pod. However, you may want to consider a replacement device if you notice a significant decline in vapour production, battery life, or if the device is physically damaged. Replacement devices are available separately through VAPO, so you do not need to purchase a full starter kit when only the device needs to be replaced.

The alt. device contains a rechargeable battery that is charged via a USB cable. It is important to follow the manufacturer's battery safety guidelines and avoid leaving devices charging unattended for extended periods. VAPO's website includes additional guidance on vape battery care and safety.
