The Trine Ultra is the higher-specification model in the Trine range, supporting higher output power and using its own replacement pod format. The standard Trine uses a different pod. Innokin Trine devices are open pod systems suited to MTL (mouth-to-lung) vaping. They perform well with nicotine salt e-liquids in the 10mg/mL to 20mg/mL range, which complement the restricted airflow draw. Freebase e-liquids at 3mg/mL to 6mg/mL are also compatible for users who prefer lower nicotine concentrations. High-VG freebase liquids above 70% VG may not wick efficiently through the Trine pod coils.

Pod lifespan varies based on how frequently you vape, the e-liquid used, and the nicotine concentration. As a general guide, a refillable pod coil will typically last one to two weeks with regular use before flavour quality starts to deteriorate. A burnt or muted taste is the primary indicator that a pod needs replacing. Replacement pods are sold in multi-packs, providing a practical supply for regular users.

Innokin's Trine range is designed as a straightforward open pod system and is accessible for users familiar with basic vaping device operation. The refillable pod format gives users flexibility to choose their own e-liquid, which requires a small amount of additional knowledge around e-liquid selection.
